GROUT-LOK SOLEPLATE: The Grout-Lok soleplate is a cast plate used as a support platform for the Microline adjustable chock system. Each soleplate allows the entrapped air in the epoxy grout materials to escape. Air trapped under the soleplates is the main reason for soleplate failures. Entrained air allows oil to enter under the soleplate and will force the disbonding of the soleplate from the foundation.

The fluting on the Grout-Lok soleplate provides 250% more surface for the epoxy grouts to bond. This additional adhesion and the air venting make the soleplate excellent for any type of rotating equipment foundations. The fingers around the outside edges act as a mechanical grip to lock the plate into the foundation.

Soleplate loading can be increased 1500 PSI with the GROUT-Lok system. This additional loading of the anchor bolts and the support system acts as a clamp to hold the equipment into position with a better grip. Movement on foundations can be eliminated with proper anchor bolt pre-loads and soleplate bonding to epoxy grouts.
